On January 27-28, 2022, ‘Yuji Ohno 80th Anniversary Official Project – Cinema Concert of Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro! And Yuji Ohno Best Hit Live!’ was held for two days at the Tokyo International Forum Hall A. It has been decided that the live performance from the second part, ‘Yuji Ohno Best Hit Live!’ on January 28, will be released on vinyl!

This album features iconic tracks composed by Yuji Ohno, one of Japan’s leading composers and arrangers, including music from the anime ‘Lupin III’, as well as songs from films, dramas, and commercials. The collection includes many beloved hits, some of which are rare and not typically performed live. The performance features a special ensemble of 54 musicians from the ‘You & Explosion Band, ‘ led by Ohno himself. This marks the largest big band orchestra in history, delivering an awe-inspiring experience! Now, this incredibly valuable stage that evokes the roots of Ohno’s sound is coming back to life.
