The vocals on some tracks are provided by Mrs. Cugat, the sultry Abbe Lane. By the time the recordings on this CD were made in the early 1960s, showman and orchestra leader Xavier Cugat had been entertaining worldwide audiences for over three decades, with his Latin American dance music and had made hundreds of best-selling records.
